Here in Shima, where the mountains seem quiet yet are alive with an unseen presence, you might try something new, or simply enjoy doing nothing at all.
You might discover something fascinating in the things you have always overlooked, or notice a small feeling stirring within you.
This is the kind of place we wanted to create.

About Shima Onsen
「四万（よんまん）の病を治す霊泉」。
そんな言い伝えのあるこの地には、昔から湯に心と体をゆだねに訪れる人たちがいました。
山の奥から湧きつづける不思議な力は、今もこの街に、静かに、やわらかく、流れつづけています。

あたりまえの日常から一歩離れ、静けさの中に身を置くことで、普段は気づけない感覚や、忘れていた感情にそっと出会える。
それは、新しい自分に出会うというより、本来の自分を思い出すような体験。

By stepping away from your everyday routine and immersing yourself in stillness, you begin to notice sensations you usually overlook, and gently reconnect with feelings long forgotten.
It’s not so much about discovering a new version of yourself, but rather remembering who you truly are.
