日本文化においての「食べる」という事の根源を、山の土地に根ざして生きてきた人々の自然観をベースに再構築する。それは異物を体内に取り込む行為であるし、食物という異物と融和する儀式であり、「くすしき」における食事の意味である。

At kusushiQui, we reconstruct the very essence of “eating”
through the lens of the traditional Japanese view of nature—
a worldview shaped by generations who lived in deep connection with the mountain land.
To eat is to take something foreign into the body—
a ritual of harmonizing the self with the other that is food.
This is what a meal means to us here.

まとうことを再認識する体験。皮膚を越えて体の内と外を感じる。自分自身の野生を思い出せるような、そんな衣を目指してデザインしました。まとう人の感覚の気付きの一端になれますよう。

To sense the boundary between your inner and outer self—beyond the surface of your skin.
These garments were designed to help you reconnect with your own wildness.
May they gently awaken a new awareness in those who wear them.

山河のあるがままの姿は『自然』という観念を形成し、それはやがて言葉となった。音楽を介して山河の音に意識が及ぶように。その山河を介して自身の内なる聲を聴くことができるように。「くすしき」の音楽は、私たちの内側に『自然』をもたらすためのもの。

The raw, unshaped form of mountains and rivers gave rise to what we now call “nature” in Japanese thought—
an idea that, over time, found its way into words.
Through music, we become aware of the sounds of these landscapes.
Through these landscapes, we learn to listen to the voice within.
The music of kusushiQui is a means of bringing that nature back inside us.
